A number of selected presentations from the symposium will be invited to submit an extended and revised version for a special issue to be published in The Internet and Higher Education (Elsevier) journal. Advanced negotiations are also underway with the editors of the Journal of Computer Assisted Learning (JCAL). The content of the articles that will constitute the core of this special issue will be related to the research questions and topics mentioned in the section "Goals of the symposium".
